Gaming partnerships have continued to flourish on the Michigan iGaming scene, and it’s quite certain the trend will continue till the year ends. Although most notable partnerships in the first six months of this year have come from offshore gaming suppliers, local companies are now seeking to leverage existing networks in the market.

One of such players is White Hat Studios, and it has recently sealed a deal with BetParx to bring its games to three states. These states are Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. White Hat releases are expected to be available to BetParx players in the coming months.

White Hat Studios Continue Aggressive Casino-Based Collaborations

The partnership with BetParx is only the latest in White Hat Studios’ string of aggressive partnerships with casinos and aggregators. Last year, White Hat Studios entered a long-term partnership with Caesars Casino MI to launch its games in the state. And as recently as March, White Hat Studios expanded this agreement to include Caesars casinos in Pennsylvania.

Similarly, in April this year, the supplier penned a deal to service BetRivers and PlaySugar House, both owned by Rush Street Interactive. However, this deal remained limited to Pennsylvania and New Jersey. With its new deal spreading to Michigan, White Hat Studios is seeking to solidify its presence in the booming US iGaming markets.

Michigan Players Can Expect New White Hat Studios Titles Monthly

The deal between White Hat Studios and BetParx is no doubt a long-term project. However, there is no assurance about when the supplier’s titles will become available to customers. However, according to Andy Whotworth, CEO of White Hat Studios, when the rollout starts, there would be new releases monthly.

“We are thrilled to announce this content agreement with betParx. As a prominent operator across the US, betParx will allow more users than ever before to gain access to our award-winning slots,” said Whotworth. “Users can expect innovative, high quality and familiar IP-driven titles, which have already proven so popular with a wide audience, along with a robust roadmap that will see frequent new titles released every month.”

The Senior Director of Marketing at BetParx, Gil Bushkin also expressed the casino’s commitment to offering customers high-quality slots and that the partnership can help achieve this goal.

“We're thrilled to announce our latest partnership with White Hat Studios. As one of the best iCasino apps to play on, we remain committed to providing our users with a diverse and rewarding iGaming experience. Integrating high-quality, fun, and entertaining content is at the heart of our mission,” Bushkin noted.

“With this exciting collaboration, betParx continues to deliver an easy-to-use iGaming experience across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Michigan, ensuring our users have access to the finest selection of games. and this partnership marks another milestone in our journey to becoming the ultimate destination for online gaming excitement."

BetParx iCasino Michigan is owned by the Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of Pottawatomi tribe in the state. The operator had earlier agreed to a content distribution deal with EveryMatrix in March. When the White Hat deal goes live, some notable games that players can expect include Crazy Fishin’, Ted and Almighty Buffalo Megaways, the most recent winner of the  Top Performing New Online Slot at the Eilers & Krejcik Slot Awards.

BetMGM Casinos on Course for $2 Billion Overall Revenue in 2024

Away from partnerships, but still on online casinos, BetMGM has emerged the highest earning iGaming brand in Michigan and the entire USA. The company released its first half financials for 2023, revealing that the casino has made $944 million in net revenue during this period.

BetMGM Casino Michigan currently owns 36.1% of the Michigan market share, and 27% of the total US online casino market during the second quarter. After posting a positive EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization) in the first two quarters of the year, Michigan profitability is expected to continue throughout the next half year. Projections are strongly in favor of a $2 billion annual revenue finish at the close of 2023.

“I am pleased with the significant progress we have made during the first half of 2023 as we continue our strong growth and remain on our path to profitability,” CEO of BetMGM Adam Greenblatt revealed in a press release. “Our financial guidance for the year remains on track – we expect to deliver $1.8 to $2.0 billion in full year revenue, as well as to be EBITDA positive in the second half of 2023.”

BetMGM is currently live in only Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and West Virginia. With Rhode Island now legalizing online casino, BetMGM may be poised for an even better revenue when it launches in all states where iGaming is legal.
