BetRivers Casino Michigan has given its players more reason to stay loyal. The online casino operator is now in partnership with 1X2 Network.

This development marks 1X2 Network’s debut in Michigan and the United States. Players who patronize BetRivers Casino MI will now have more slots to choose from.

1X2 Network launch in the Great Lakes State is coming after the game manufacturer was granted a full supplier’s license by the Michigan Gaming Control Board in August 2023.

BetRivers Partnership Gives 1X2 Network Opportunity for Independent Debut in US Market

Michigan continues to experience remarkable growth in its gambling industry. This growth is driven in part by acquisitions, partnerships and expansions undertaken by operators of Michigan online casinos.

The latest development is 1X2 Network’s debut in Michigan. The game manufacturing company is beginning operations almost eight months after getting a supplier license from Michigan authorities. It is not surprising that Michigan remains a top choice for debut as the state is one of the nation’s most vibrant online casino markets.

On top of that, 1X2 Network partnered with one of Michigan’s most prominent online casino operators, BetRivers Casino MI. This will no doubt position both entities for greater exploits in the Great Lakes State.

1X2 Network previously had a distribution deal with Light & Wonder, a casino game provider based in Nevada. The deal involved the distribution of 1X2 Network’s games to operators in the US. However, its deal with BetRivers in Michigan granted the company independent entry into the U.S. market.

1X2 Network Deal Promises More than 200 New Games for BetRivers Players

BetRivers Casino is about to give its rivals a run for their money. The online casino operator’s customers are also in for a great time because 1X2 Network has over 200 slot titles in its portfolio. Some of these titles include popular games like Maverick Crash Out, Eagle Strike, Wolf Strike and 1 Million Megaways.

Towards the end of 2023, BetRivers portfolio included over 1,200 slots. This offering was only surpassed by BetMGM Casino Michigan and DraftKings Casino Michigan. Once new games from the software vendor’s portfolio are added and available to players, BetRivers will most likely gain on its rivals.

“We’re very happy to be the first in the US to partner with 1X2 Network to launch their slot game offerings as we always want to create new and exciting entertainment experiences for our players. 1X2 Network has a unique portfolio of online slots, and we are confident that our customers in Michigan will enjoy what this leading content supplier has to present now and in the future”, said BetRivers CEO Richard Schwartz in a statement.

BetRivers and Michigan Move Marks a Landmark Development for the UK-based Game Software Vendor

1X2 Network’s choice of Michigan and BetRivers is strategic. The Great Lakes State has 15 licensed iGaming operators. These operators earned a combined revenue of $1.9 billion in 2023 alone.

In the first two months of 2024, Michigan secured its place as the second-largest online casino state in terms of revenue with $369.9 million. The state was surpassed only by New Jersey with $371.3 million revenue within the same period.

In addition, BetRivers has consistently maintained its place as the fourth-best online casino in Michigan. The online casino operator generated $12.1 million in February online revenue behind BetMGM ($50.3 million), FanDuel ($48.4 million) and DraftKings ($36.9 million).

Over the years, BetRivers has also built its reputation with its ever-expanding slots inventory. It remains to be seen how this new partnership will boost BetRivers ranking and income.

The attractiveness of the Michigan online casino market was confirmed by 1X2 Network CEO Kevin Reid in a statement:

“Our launch into Michigan with one of North America’s most respected and innovative online casino operators is a landmark occasion for all of us at 1X2 Network. RSI’s BetRivers platform places us in an excellent position to share our unique content with players in Michigan, which has seen overwhelming success within iGaming. The US is a major strategic market, and we are excited that RSI is our exclusive market entry partner for Michigan.”

It was previously reported that BetRivers’ parent company, Rush Street Interactive, is considering selling its online gambling operation. However, industry experts think BetRivers will continue operating in Michigan regardless.
